The Young Dubliners will play in Pershing Square at noon on March 17.

St. Patrick's Day may be mostly an excuse to drink green beer, but there are certainly plenty of offerings around Downtown with something for your inner musical leprechaun.

The Young Dubliners will headline the St. Patrick’s Day Lunchtime Concert Celebration at Pershing Square. The ceremony begins at 11:30am and the concert starts at noon. Afterward, the party migrates to Grand Avenue between Wilshire and 6th where Hollywood U2, billed as U2's favorite tribute band, takes the stage at 1:30pm and 4:30pm. Petty Cash, a Tom Petty and Johnny Cash Tribute band, plays at 5:30pm. Ollin Band, a Pogues Tribute Band, plays at 6:30pm. The festivities will be broadcast live on 98.7FM in the morning and 100.3FM in the afternoon. Pershing Square Info / Casey's Irish Pub Street Fair Info

Ken O'Malley & The Twilight Lords play at L.A. Live's St. Patrick's Day Festival that begins at 4pm, and includes a mini-parade and plenty of themed specials. L.A. Live / 800 W Olympic

Barrio Tiger and Black Beverly Heels will occupy 5th and Spring watering hole Down and Out for St. Patrick’s Day. Be careful, the dangerous Lightnin' Woodcock will also take the stage. 9pm / 502 S. Spring

Ragtime at the Redwood: The Dustbowl Revival offers a St. Patrick's Day Romp at the Redwood Bar & Grill with the Paul Chesne Band and Hobo Jazz. 316 W. 2nd
