Around the Halls: Bunker Hill Condos, Homegirl Cafe's Breakfast Hours

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Today is Monday, May 9, and it's a light week for Council meetings as budget talks continue to dominate City Hall. Condo development on Bunker Hill, Homegirl Cafe's breakfast hours and the Joseph R. Cerrell Italian American Museum are among the relatively few items up for discussion.
MONDAY: No meetings. Budget sessions resume on Tuesday.
TUESDAY: Council meets, as do three committees.
A motion to name the museum at El Pueblo's Italian Hall the Joseph R. Cerrell Italian American Museum goes to Council under CF 10-1885.
Development plans for the two condo projects that are slated to go next to the Broad art museum on Bunker Hill go to Council as CF 10-1256.
Environmental documents for Geoff Palmer's development just south of Downtown at 2300 S. Flower go to Planning committee as CF 11-0647. The phased project has 1,383,068 square feet of mixed uses, with 1,051 residential units.
WEDNESDAY: Council returns, as does one committee.
Banners announcing that Homegirl Cafe in Chinatown is now open at 7am and serving breakfast would be authorized by CF 11-0475.
