Piled cars are set up for a stunt in front of the 3rd Street Tunnel during filming of "The Dark Knight Rises" on September 4.

Batman might just want to pick up a Downtown loft. Shooting for the Christopher Nolan-helmed film "The Dark Knight Rises" took over the 3rd Street Tunnel on Labor Day weekend, then moved to the 6th Street Bridge.

This weekend, filming moves to the top of Bunker Hill, closing down both upper and lower Grand Avenue until 6am on Monday morning.

Like the first two shoots, this one should be entertaining. The filming notice lists both a truck and a car crashing from Upper Grand to Lower, along with the customary array of fireballs and pyrotechnics.

Want to get a glimpse of the action? Downtown photographer Sterling Davis has done a great job documenting the shoots over on his website, On Set L.A..
