Starting Thursday evening and running until Monday morning, Figueroa will be closed nightly between 3rd and 6th. Closures will start at 8pm on Thursday and Friday, and 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.

4th Street will be closed similarly closed each night from Beaudry to Olive, and 3rd Street will be closed continuously between Figueroa and Flower.

Two helicopters, one in the shot and one carrying a camera, will be used for low-level filming between 8pm and midnight on Friday and Saturday. One helicopter will be on-hand as a camera ship on Thursday evening between 8 and 10pm, but will stay above 500 feet.

"The Dark Knight Rises" filmed in Pittsburgh earlier this year, and next month will shoot scenes in New York. The film opens on July 20, 2012.
