DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — As avante-garde circus troupe Lucent Dossier prepared for its sold-out July show at the Palace Theatre, director Dream Rockwell was clear that the company had fallen in love.
"To me, this feels like home," said Rockwell of the venue and its historic vaudeville stage.
While the July show was a one-night affair, Rockwell and Lucent Dossier will return to the Palace for a pair of shows later this month.
"We have received countless emails asking about our return to the Palace stage," said Rockwell in a Thursday release announcing the shows. "We have finally been able to settle down after performances at Burning Man, The Emmy's and numerous beautiful private affairs so we can prepare our next Palace extravaganza!”
The two shows will take place on October 21 and 22. Tickets range from $20 to $135 and are available online.
