The Downtown Center BID's Hal Bastian demonstrates trick-or-treat form for costumed kids during the 2009 Halloween event.

The Downtown Center BID's Halloween party for Downtown kids returns to Grand Hope Park on Monday evening, offering treats and entertainment for the central city's young ones from 5 to 8pm.

To handle the growth of the event, the BID has added a $5 ticket fee to its fourth Halloween outing. Tickets can be purchased online through the downtownla.com website.

Costumes are required for kids, and suggested for the adults that accompany them. As always for Grand Hope Park, dogs are forbidden.
