On Wednesday, November 30, the Million Dollar hosts a twin-bill of 1970's "Five Easy Pieces," and 1972's "The King of Marvin Gardens," part of the 11-week UCLA Film and Television Archive's screening series.
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Looking for something to do tonight? There are still four weeks left in the UCLA Film and Television Archive's screening series at Broadway's Million Dollar Theater. On the bill tonight at the 1918 movie palace are a pair of Jack Nicholson features directed by Bob Rafelson: 1970's "Five Easy Pieces," and 1972's "The King of Marvin Gardens."
The 11-week series started in October. All screenings are $10, or $9 for students and seniors. Tickets are available only at the theater's box office, which will open one hour before each 7:30pm showing.
Outside of the series, the Million Dollar will host slightly more classic seasonal fare on Sunday, December 4, at 2pm, when the Los Angeles Conservancy will be hosting a matinee screening of 1947's "Miracle on 34th Street." Tickets are $15 for the general public, $10 for Conservancy members and $5 for children 12 and under, and can be purchased via the Conservancy's website.

Thanks for helping us get the word out! Only got 50 movie goers last night but the crazy winds kept folks away.
