Downtowners with dogs will be able to place their pooches on the Los Angeles Brewing Company's patio while they imbibe inside.

The new bar which boasts 100 beers on tap will watch customers' canines from noon-10pm for free.

Although the Broadway Ave. restaurant and bar is open, it's currently a "soft open". The official opening will be Friday, April 6, which is when the gratis dog valet will commence - pending city approval, according to Los Angeles Brewing Co. management.

Once that approval is granted, beer drinkers can drop off their dogs at the valet as long as the pets are licensed by L.A. County.

With Broadway continually adding new night spots, like the nearby Umamicatessen, this may be a feature to convince patrons to have a pint (or two) at the Brew Co.
