Fiesta Broadway will take over 12 square blocks of Downtown.

Fiesta Broadway returns to downtown L.A. this Sunday for a pre-Cinco de Mayo party of gigantesco proportions.

The party goes from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and spans 12 square blocks of DTLA, with most of the event taking place on Broadway.

Almost half a million people are expected at this year's event, the 23rd annual celebration.

Fiesta Broadway is the largest Cinco de Mayo celebration in the world, according to a tweet from the event.

The seven-hour celebration will include food and live entertainment -- this year, all the acts will play on one main stage located at 1st and Broadway.

Musical acts begin around noon and culminate at 4:00 p.m. with Angelica Maria, followed by Pepe Aguilar a little before 5.

Stretches of Broadway will be closed most of the weekend for the event. See the complete list below:

Broadway between Temple St & 3rd St. will be closed from noon on Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday.

Broadway between 3rd St. & 5th St. will be closed from 7pm on Saturday until 5a.m. Monday.

First, 2nd, 3rd and 4th streets will be closed between Spring and Hill streets.
