FYF Fest: Music, comedy and extended Metro hours

FYF Fest will take over L.A. State Historic Park Saturday and Sunday with live music and comedic performances.
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — FYF Fest, the annual L.A. music and comedy festival, announced set times and an extended Metro schedule leading up to the event set for this Labor Day Weekend.
Metro, which recently started running trains late during three-day weekends, will remain open until 2 a.m. Friday through Sunday nights for Labor Day, according to Anna Chen, Metro spokesperson. The Chinatown Gold Line and Union Station are within walking distance of the popular event.
FYF Fest will happen from noon to midnight on Saturday and Sunday at Los Angeles State Historic Park.
A long list of bands including Beirut, Sleigh Bells and Yeasayer are slated to perform. Comedians David Cross, the Sklar Brothers and Maria Bamford will will also take the stage, among others. See the complete line-up here.
