blogdowntown will be continually updating the map below with the status of new downtown L.A. developments.

As part of blogdowntown's effort to map the rapid development of downtown L.A., we are launching an online map that will be continually updated as projects are announced, under construction and eventually, opened.

The map is color-coded and divided into sections: Development, Arts & Culture, Roads & Rails and Food & Nightlife.

Projects that are currently plotted include the King Eddy Saloon, the new Marriott hotels near L.A. Live and the ongoing retail openings at Figat7th.

The colored lines on the map indicate ongoing transit projects, such as the proposed streetcar and the incoming bike rental kiosks from Bike Nation.

Other projects we will be tracking include the new Regional Connector, Clifton's Cafeteria and Angel City Brewery. Once you click on the project's icon you can see the development's status, expected opening date, details about the project and links to blogdowntown's previous coverage.

The map is a work-in-progress so we will be adding projects throughout the coming weeks. We welcome your suggestions in our comments section or on our Facebook page!

Just click on any one of the colored dots for information on the project and a link to Blogdowntown's coverage. Check back often to see how things are going on your new neighborhood bar, transit stop or eatery.
