Springfest: Chinatown event to feature ribs, beer and bands

The first annual Springfest will be held in Chinatown next month. The "official after-party" of CicLAvia, the festival plans to bring together local businesses to host a day of music, art and a rib-eating contest.

New custom denim store opens in Historic Core, seams like a hit

Den.m Bar opened last week on 7th Street and is selling handmade jeans starting at more than $200. Customers dictate the cut, color, style and material for each individual pair. So far, the small factory has received about 40 orders.
