No News; Just Parts
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — The sound of a helicopter hovering over Downtown always makes me think I’m missing some bit of news. The longer it lingers the more I get the urge to go investigate and figure out what’s going on.
This morning I woke up just a bit ago to chopper sounds and ended up heading up to the roof to investigate. Instead of news it was a delivery: pieces of machinery getting delivered to the roof of One Wilshire. Interestingly, that same building was the site of early-morning chopper delivery just over a year ago, though then it was with a much cooler Skycrane.
Photo isn’t of this morning’s bird, just a random chopper shot from back in January.

I just tried to walk down Grand, south from 6th and was stopped by a guy in an LAPD baseball cap who told me FAA regulations prevented me from walking down that block while the helicopter is working; he said it should wrap-up soon.
