Another City Hall "Suspicous Package'*

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Main from First to Aliso is being blocked off as LAPD investigates a reported “suspicious package” at City Hall. Acccording to a courthouse employee, they are being evacuated as well. The bomb squad has already arrived.

The Los Angeles Mall, with it’s bunker-like food court below ground level, remains open.

Add 1pm: All clear, and Main St is open for traffic, for now. Later today, there will be a “Stop the Raid” march at 5pm. It begins at Olympic and Broadway and ends at Temple and Main, according to LADOT.
