Blossom, Times Two

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Blossom Vietnamese Restaurant on Main street opened a new semi-joined space this week, proving that it isn't just grand openings that signal economic development. The restaurant joins a chain of Main street moves, as Banquette owner Monica May makes progress on her new café south of 5th, called “The Nickel” (a great name by the way). Up the street Ray’s general store and deli began expansion months ago and is still a work in progress.

Blossom joins in the growth by taking over the corner space at Winston and Main. The new area space doesn't quite open into the main restaurant, and its white walls and large windows constrast with the green accented walls and soft light next door. A little portal to the kitchen allows food delivery.
