As part of our effort to track the construction and opening of new developments in downtown L.A., blogdowntown is launching a color-coded map that will be continually updated as projects progress.

Angel City launches food truck party; announces 'official' brewery opening date


This DTLA brewery soft-opened in February with limited hours and select beers, and has slowly been adding special events and brew types to their repertoire. An art show and food truck party this month lead up to the brewery's "ribbon-cutting" in May.

A group of Downtown property owners surveying area residents, employees and visitors to determine what new businesses people want the most. Similar studies are credited with bringing Ralphs and Target to DTLA in the past.

Figat7th food court continues to grow with Mendocino Farms opening
