|Photo Gallery| L.A. Fashion on Broadway made full use of the Los Angeles Theatre, placing shows in the lobby, on the stage and in the basement ballroom Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

The closing night lineup was anchored by Downtown-based Fremont Apparel Co., which showed a clean, preppy-inspired spring collection with plenty of shorts, flirty dresses and scarves.

Erik Dixon has some pretty strong Downtown credentials. He spent much of his childhood at the Brewery Art Colony, where his mom got a place in 1986. After a stint away, Dixon's now been back Downtown long enough for his three year old daughter to have spent her entire life in the neighborhood. He says that she had to get over a fear of grass after being around all that concrete.
