Dr. Gene Scott

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Scanning the news before I head to bed I see that Downtown televangelist Dr. Gene Scott died Monday afternoon. His website doesn't yet reflect the news. I never could quite make out what he was preaching about when I would tune past his broadcasts on local tv. That whiteboard was always jammed full of notes, half in greek or hebrew.
The question I have to ask, though, is what will now become of the United Artists theater? Though I've only seen the inside through photos, it's an amazing building.
