Downtown Farmers' Market Gets Good Reports

The midday Wednesday timing has made it something I've been unable to attend, but I keep hearing good things about the Downtown Farmers' Market that's happening on Flower this fall. eecue writes that

The market was packed with people from both the neighborhood and the local businesses. The stands sold everything from clothing to the usual staples of organic veggies and fresh baked goods. We ran in to Gary Leonard, the Downtown LA News photographer, who I had previously met at the Is California Governable talk. The market is really quite expansive and puts the Silverlake Farmers Market to shame.

David Kennedy also wrote me earlier in the month with good things to say about the market as well. If I recall correctly it runs until late September or early October, but just walk around Downtown until you find one of the streetpole banners to be sure.
