Bike From Downtown With RIDE-Arc
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — There’s a new monthly bike ride that I think looks interesting. It’s called RIDE-Arc and meets at SCI-Arc in the Arts District. Rides happen on the first Friday of each month, which conveniently means there’s a ride tomorrow.
THIS FRIDAY EVENING (11-4-05) we will be having the ride for November, affectionately called “REAL DEALS & WANNABEES”
Is it real? it is fake? It’s Los Angeles.
A ride through the Los Angeles urban landscape, both real and contrived. This ride is approximately 15 miles long (which, actually, isn’t as long as you’d think…). The air at night is getting wonderfully cooler, so a light hoodie (or equivalent) may be suggested.
Riders should meet in the SCI-Arc parking lot at 9pm. There’s a flyer you can check out or you can email ridearc@sciarc.edu for more information.
Kathy just got her bike on Tuesday, so I think both she and I will be there.
