Question about Downtown Lunch Options
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — So here's a good Friday afternoon question: what are your favorite places for Downtown lunch delivery? At work we get Friday lunch delivered in, and each time we choose where to get food from I feel like there have to be all these great little places that I just don't know about.
Twice recently we've ordered from Arda's Cafe, on 6th just across from Pershing Square. They've been great. Their website is nice looking, the menu's good and most importantly the food's been delivered quickly and correctly (something that seems to be hard for many places to do). So that's a good option.
Today we ordered from Emerson's Cafe on Olive. The website's a little more confusing (you have to go into the ordering interface to see a menu), but the order came quickly and they brought everything we asked for.
But what are the places I don't know about? Where's good?

# on Feb.27.2006 AT 06:03 PMEl Huarache near the northeast corner of Broadway and 4th is a new favorite of mine. Regional Mexico City Mexican food, especially the Huarache which reminds me of a Salvadoreon pupusa (can be described as a stuffed corn pancake) but larger and in the shape of a sandal.
Plus the new Vietnamese place in the Old Bank District on Main, just south of 4th called Blossom is great too...
Actually, I'm now assuming that they deliver...
