More Fast Food: 6th/Grand Carl's Jr. Reopens

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Germane to this morning's fast food conversation is the fast that the Carl's Jr. at 6th/Grand is now reopened.

They've been down for a while doing renovation and I have to say I like what they ended up with. It's a very open loft-style look, with a high entry ceiling and exposed duct work.

As of right now they don't have hours posted -- and I didn't make the effort to ask -- but it's nice to see that whole side of the block looking so good. On that south side of 6th between Hope and Grand you've now got Wolfgang Puck Express, Juice it Up!, Loose Leaf, Subway, Mitaki, Yorkshire Grill and Carl's Jr. That's a pretty wide line-up.

I checked out the renovated Carls Jr last night. Pretty nice look,I went around 7:30pm and it was virtually empty... apparently they close at 8pm. I must recommend the hand-scooped M&M milkshake.

I love to eat at fast food though I know that it is not a healthy food. I am glad to find out that Carls Jr is reopened.
