Prime Directive Shoot Eric Richardson

For the third weekend in four the Transformers movie Prime Directive was back at 6th and Spring yesterday. They've been filming various spots Downtown, including a lot on Broadway just south of eighth (where they are again today).

I went up to the roof yesterday afternoon to try and get a shot of something exploding, but poor timing and a lack of patience meant I didn't sit around long enough to capture anything particularly interesting. You can see my other shots here.

I would assume that in the movie this rubble pile will have a nice, deep crater where that blue is.

I especially liked the 2 apache (blackhawk?) gunships flying past my window followed by a camera helicopter.

Am I the only one who predicts this will become a huge box office flop? A mega million dollar bomb?

I will go see it anyway because they've worked so hard and freaked us out so much, it would be such a waste of our suffering. Good night to all...

I'll definitely be buying a bootleg copy of this movie for five bucks on the sidewalk not far from where this was filmed.

Scott's right, not that I'll be buying a movie from the theives, but that it will indeed happen exactly where the movie was shot. I wouldn't be surprised if the cast and execs had to hop over a blanket laid out with their most recent blockbusters.

Hey E - your neighbor here and I got some rad pics of the explosions! http://flickr.com/photos/73437286@N00/sets/72157594271321460/ When I was on the street taking the pictures though, I was told to hide my camera or they would take my memory card. Wooooo - scary! It was so stupid!
