Elysian Park Ride Redux -- Night
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — A few weeks ago I posted about a bicycle ride through Elysian Park. Last night a few of us from the IAAL-MAF took the same ride through the park, but this time after dark.
I love night shots of Downtown, particularly on nights like this where the air was clear and views were sharp. Elysian Park is always a great ride, and the pitch-black darkness certainly added to the atmosphere.
The set of photos is particularly heavy on shots of traffic sitting on the 110. Certainly nice to be up on a bike above it rather than sitting down in it.
Tonight the IAAL-MAF rides to Take Back the Observatory.

I wish there were more bike paths up Elysian Park, perhaps everyone can enjoy that view. And then they can build a giant ferris wheel so you can see farther. Next stop Coney Island... Worth wishing for.
