Sixth Street Bridge Hosts the Marathoners

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES —
I made my way over to the Sixth Street bridge a bit ago, arriving just a few minutes before the lead marathoners.
The steep descent off the bridge proved to be just the vantage point for catching shots of lead woman Ramilia Burangulova (left) and the pack of men that included eventual winner Fred Mogaka (right, Fred’s on the left).
Given the bridge’s uncertain future, it’s cool to see it getting this sort of attention right now. I didn’t get a chance to see them, but I’d suspect the helicopter shots of the runners crossing the river were quite cool.
