Hanover Towering

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES — Five months ago I took a photo of the Hanover tower just peaking over the Variety Arts building. It's easy to forget how not so long ago that was as you see the building tower over the smaller theater today. The 26-story structure is now only a couple floors away from full height.

Ironically, this photo inspired me to remember that comparison and comment on it, yet it comes nowhere near showing you the two buildings together.

In other development related news, there were a couple guys at work on the seemingly stalled Concerto site today. I can't say if they were doing anything useful or what the status is there, but it's good to see at least someone present.
