Need something to do this weekend and want to support a good cause? Lodestone Theatre Ensemble does their shows up in Burbank, but this Saturday they’re coming down to Little Tokyo for a fund-raising poker tournament. Buy in is $45 and includes a buffet, bar and karaoke.

Lodestone just finished a run of the play Trojan Women that was co-produced by Nic Cha Kim of Niche.LA. The cast will be present for Sunday’s festivities.

Thanks Eric for the post! Please come to our fundraiser and meet our wonderful cast, including Emily Kuroda who played the hilarious Mrs. Kim on Gilmore Girls. Lodestone Theatre Ensemble is an Asian American theatre company based in Burbank, but we also do tons of work in Little Tokyo.

We work to give AA artists an opportunity to work in theatre in front of an ever-increasing audience in an industry where AAs are largely ignored. However, many of our members are changing that from the inside out and are really making a difference in the American cultural landscape, including Daniel Dae Kim (ABC's Lost), James Kyson Lee (NBC's Heroes), and Camille Mana (UPN's One on One).

Please come support a really worthy cause! Thank you and we'll see you there!
