Live, the $2.5 billion entertainment complex rising next to Staples Center, is home to the Nokia Theatre, the GRAMMY Museum, Club Nokia, Conga Room, Lucky Strike, ESPN Zone, New Zealand Natural Ice Cream, The Farm of Beverly Hills, Fleming's Prime Steakhouse, Lawry's Carvery, Yard House and Rock'N Fish.
Coming in 2009 are Katsuya, Rosa Mexicana, Trader Vic's, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill and Regal Cinemas.

The debut screening took place inside the new venue's 806-seat Premiere House, designed to lure such events away from Westwood and Hollywood.

|Photo Gallery| It's hard to believe, but the opening of L.A. Live's 14-screen Regal Cinemas could be just the third-biggest event scheduled for the entertainment complex on Tuesday.
Three hours before the cinema makes its 9pm debut, Nokia Theatre hosts the world premiere for "Michael Jackson's This Is It," and just one hour after that the Lakers and Clippers open their seasons in a head-to-head showdown at Staples Center.

Over the past month, Chick Hearn Court has hosted elephants, media risers, skateboarders, basketball players and a red carpet. The one thing missing? Cars.

Downtown's Last Major Crane Coming Down

Downtown is losing the last and the tallest of the tower cranes that built South Park's residential rebirth. Now that major construction activity has wrapped, the crane that stood above L.A. Live's Ritz Carlton tower is being disassembled.
