The filming services contract goes back to Public Works committee on Wednesday, with a third draft of the RFP that strips most specific timeframes from the requirements. Also up for discussion on Monday is the city's idea to sell parking assets to generate up-front revenue.

A joint meeting of the Transportation and Budget and Finance committees will discuss and , both relating to public-private partnerships and the city's desire to get a cash infusion by selling off parking resources to a private entity.
TUESDAY: Council's in session, and only one committee meeting joins it on the calendar.
At Council, item 22 is , the RFP contracting 'LA Reflections' as the operator for the restaurant space at the northwest corner of 2nd and Main, part of the new Parker Center.
Item 34, requests that Planning and LADOT work with the high speed rail project to determine how that project will impact river revitalization efforts. It also asks the high speed rails project to come give an update to Council.
is the CDBG budget, which includes $1 million for Broadway streetscape. The money was almost halved, but now is back to the initial amount.
WEDNESDAY: Council's again in session, with five committee meetings.
Public Works committee is the only one that Downtowners need to care about. After getting scheduled for Council, the filming services contract got pulled back to committee for further discussion.
Now the CAO's office has prepared a new draft of the RFP. The new draft removes most of the specific language regarding how far in advance surveying and notification requests must be done.
