Two Boots has ten locations, including seven in New York City.

Two weeks after news that Umami would be opening 'UMAMIcatessen' on Broadway between 8th and 9th, the block is again in the eatery announcement news.

Brooklyn-born will be opening next door to Broadway Bar at 826 S. Broadway.

The chain, which blends Italian and cajun flavors in its pies, currently has ten locations, including seven in New York and one in Echo Park. It will be taking over the shack that until recently housed Husky Boy.

Both signings will be featured at a Tuesday morning press conference put on by the office of Councilman Jose Huizar.

I'll miss Husky Boy. The owners were cool...especially the wife. If someone knows what happened to them, please post here!

Now THIS is a place for which I will overpay. Definitely worth the price, glad I don't have to bike down Sunset to get a slice. Welcome to the neighborhood.

Another amazing announcement. I've decided that every time I walk between the gym or L.A. Live or the library to my place at night I'm going to start walking down Broadway a lot of the time. This weekend I saw more pedestrians at night than I've seen for a very long time. Get out there and walk the street!

Oh so yummy, love Two Boots. I love how busy downtown is getting. I live in Chinatown, but work and hang out in downtown. I feel like every month something new is popping up. I am really happy about this. Pizza is a prefect late night treat. If your down that way on Broadway, all you get is death dogs.

I wonder if they'll break dtla tradition and be open after 3pm or on weekends at all.
